Services offered cover the entire spectrum of activities including construction of new Railway lines, rehabilitation/conversion of existing lines, station buildings, bridges, tunnels, signalling & telecommunication networks, railway electrification, wet leasing of locomotives, and setting up production units for Rolling Stock, Maintenance Depots/Workshops, Concrete Sleepers and Track Components on a turnkey basis.
IRCON has the competence to execute any project in Railway Engineering anywhere in the world. Several prestigious projects have been completed successfully, including construction of more than 2500 km of new track and rehabilitation of existing track in India and abroad.
Some of the notable projects executed in Malaysia include rehabilitation of track from Palo to Singapore & from slim river to Seremban, double track from Rawang to Seremban, connectivity to new port at Tanjung Pelepas and a turnkey contract of USD 1 Billion electrified double tracking between Seremban and Gemas. The notable projects executed in Bangladesh include 290 km of Jamuna Bridge dual gauge railway link project. IRCON has successfully executed the Projects for reconstruction of railway network of Northern Province of Sri Lanka, completion of which provided rail connectivity to people after 25 years. In Mozambique, IRCON has also completed rehabilitation of the Beira rail link.
